We’re genuinely grateful for what Rebuilding Exchange brought to the reuse community, and we understand it’s a loss to see them close. We know a lot of makers, remodelers, and weekend project people are just looking for a place to keep finding the good stuff. That’s exactly what we do at All American Reclaim. Reclaimed lumber, barn wood, salvaged windows and doors, architectural pieces, vintage finds, and all the “I didn’t know I needed that” materials you build a project around. We just received a shipment of live edge slabs! These sustainably sourced slabs come from Costa Rica and are primarily Parota, with a few other species available as well.
They’re ideal for bar tops, with some pieces reaching up to 20 feet long!!!

Our Journey
We at All American Reclaim are immensely proud to be featured in Northwest Quarterly, where the remarkable journey of our founder, Andy Michaelis, is showcased. Starting in 2013 with a vision to become a local supplier of reclaimed wood, Andy’s dedication has transformed All American Reclaim into one of the Midwest’s leading dealers of salvaged materials. Our 22,000-square-foot showroom, once a flower nursery and greenhouse, now brims with a fascinating array of items – from vintage hardware to unique country/farmhouse fixtures. Each piece in our collection not only tells a story of the past but also symbolizes the new life and innovative spirit that Andy brought to the business. This feature is a testament to the adventurous leap of faith and hard work that has shaped our company into what it is today.

We salvaged materials from the old Pillsbury Mills Plant in Springfield, IL! This former factory first opened in 1929. There was so much history here! We are proud to be saving part of this historic factory!
